About the Role:

Shards is seeking a Project Manager specialized in managing cybersecurity projects to join our dynamic team. This role is tailored for a forward-thinking individual with a robust understanding of project management principles and a solid grasp of cybersecurity landscapes. The ideal candidate will navigate complex projects, driving them from conception through to completion, ensuring that they meet all technical requirements, are delivered on time, and adhere to budget constraints. Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate cybersecurity projects, ensuring they align with strategic objectives and comply with security standards.

• Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.

• Monitor project progress continuously, developing detailed reports for executive staff regarding project status, and proposing adjustments to timelines, schedules, and costs as needed.

• Enhance project management processes and tools to ensure repeatable successes across the portfolio of cybersecurity projects.

• Serve as a liaison between the technical team and clients, ensuring clear communication of project expectations, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

• Address potential project risks, identifying proactive solutions to resolve issues and mitigate impacts to the project.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, specifically in managing cybersecurity or IT-related projects.

• Strong foundation in project management methodologies, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle, with certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) being highly advantageous.

• Proficiency in cybersecurity principles, technologies, and frameworks, with an ability to understand and articulate complex security requirements to stakeholders.

• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, adapting project management approaches to align with dynamic project needs.

• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

• Strong communication and leadership skills, capable of motivating a team to meet tight deadlines and achieve project goals.

• A proven track record of successful project delivery for complex cybersecurity projects, demonstrating an ability to navigate challenges and drive results.
